Living a lifestyle not of God
although one may be saved
will cause a conscience to incur
strong guilt how we behave

the more a person denies God
the more his sins will mount
enslaved by Satan and his ways
one’s troubles will surmount
____
will you cause God to cry for you
because of your denial
will you reject His love He has
caring not all the while
____
what kind of fruit will bring to bear
from seeds that are planted
future regrets born tomorrow
by taking God for granted
____
it’s by works that we are all judged
our crowns of glory wait
not all of those who think they’re saved
are safe from hell’s own gate
____
once you’ve taken that step in faith
to accept Jesus Christ
your efforts to live by God’s laws
is a choice of the wise
____
Jesus is there waiting for you
He wants no one to die
for the amazing grace of God
overflows from on high
